Boarding and Doggy Day Care
We pride ourselves on caring for your pets the way you would. We are able to provide this personal level of service because we are a small family run hotel for dogs and cats with experienced well-trained staff. Kurt and Laura share a lifelong love of animals and have put this passion into their work to create a caring environment as the owners of Seacrest since 2005. We have only 24 kennels and 11 catteries making advanced booking essential, especially during the busy summer months, Christmas and other holiday periods.
Our Kennels
Each dog kennel has its own casita built with white washed walls and red tiled roofs that provide comfortable shelter from the elements, as well as its own secure play area. The sizes vary to accommodate from a small individual puppy up to a family of 3-4 large dogs. Plus we take each set of dogs out to our large, fully enclosed exercise yard for a run twice a day.
The Cattery
Every cattery has its own indoor secure space, which is double door locked for safety. The cat habitations have perches and a quiet place for your cat to lounge. The cats receive cuddles and are given fresh litter, water, food and treats daily. During hot summer days we use fans to cool the air and on chilly winter nights we put a heater on in the cattery.
Doggy Day Care
Doggy Day Care is an option we provide for busy professionals or for people who are just going out for an extended day and do not want to leave their dog home alone. We are open from 9:30am until 1:30pm for drop off and one hour in the evening for pick up; between 6-7pm during the Daylight Savings months or between 5-6pm during the rest of the year.
Plus, to make the stay more enjoyable we recommend the owners bring items familiar to their pets, such as toys and bedding, to make them feel more at home.
Inoculation Policy
All animals are required to have complete up to date vaccinations including:
Dogs – Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Parvovirus. Vaccination against kennel cough is not required but is recommended.
Cats – Rabies, Feline Enteritis, Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivivirus
Food and Medicine
We provide excellent veterinary quality food for your animals whilst they are boarding. However, if your pet has special dietary or daily medication requirements, you may provide these with instructions and we will accommodate their needs.
The Pet Passport/vaccination paperwork must be brought to Seacrest with your pet and will be kept on the premises during the entire stay.
All dogs and cats must be regularly treated for ticks, fleas, worms and other parasites.
